Company Information

American Import Tiles, Ltd. (AIT) is one of the largest importers and distributors of fine ceramic, porcelain and natural stone tiles in the midwest.  Founded in 1979, American Import Tiles has grown from a single building serving tile contractors on the south side of Chicago to two locations serving consumers, designers, architects and contractors across the country.

Our Mission:

• Provide innovative ceramic, porcelain and natural stone tiles to our clients.
• Partner with world class manufacturers to provide quality, value and variety in our products.
• Maintain a product line and inventory to surpass clients’ needs.
• Sustain superior customer service that exceeds clients’ expectations.

Our Business:

• Sell everything needed to layout, install, and maintain ceramic, porcelain, and stone tile.
• Deliver any amount of tile to any location within the continental United States.
• We do not install tile, howerver we can refer reputable tile installers to you.
• Provide design consulting service and suggestions.

The Design Resource Center is a place for trade professionals and consumers to find and purchase new products and to gain insightful direction in their plans and needs.
